The trivalent bi-chromate Cr3+ passivation is a topcoat passivation process containing cobalt which offers a high level of protection against corrosion.
This passivation process conforms to the standards of the automotive industry among others.
The corrosion results obtained are comparable to processes with similar hexavalent finish, which last more than 360 Hrs before the appearance of white rust corrosion.
In compliance with the RoHs regulations, our yellow finish is free from hexavalent chromium Cr 6+, as well as lead, cadmium and mercury.
Recommendations
A passivation process recommended for any type of material and location, whether exposed indoors or outdoors, due to its high resistance to corrosion.
